Bethany

Bethany, located between Dalton City and Sullivan on Rt. 121, was settled in the early 1800s, and visitors will view a combination of history and progress as they explore the village.

The newest addition to the village is a state-of-the-art fire station which also is home to the fire district’s ambulance.

Gracious 19th Century homes, reflecting the heritage of the village, may be seen while driving down the tree-shaded streets, and the downtown area along Church and Main streets still has many of the brick buildings which housed the village’s original businesses.

Crowder Park, complete with playground equipment for the kids and scenic trails, is a good place to stop for a picnic, and the Marrowbone Nature Walk is located on South Church Street.
